Cybersecurity Engineering Intern/Work-Study Position
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Engineering Intern or Work-Study Student to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with both pre- and post-project initiatives in the dynamic and fast-growing field of cybersecurity. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity solutions, client communications, and project collaboration, all while working closely with experienced professionals in the field.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for the following:
- Email Outreach:
- Sending out professional and engaging emails to leads, introducing our cybersecurity solution packages, and initiating meaningful conversations.
- Tracking and managing outreach efforts using tools and platforms provided.
- Statements of Work (SoW):
- Assisting in the creation of detailed Statements of Work (SoWs) that clearly outline the cybersecurity solutions we deliver.
- Translating complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for non-technical audiences.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the accuracy and clarity of the SoWs.
- Project Collaboration:
- Supporting the implementation and management of projects secured as a result of your outreach and SoW efforts.
- Gaining hands-on experience in the execution of cybersecurity solutions.
- Team Collaboration:
- Working closely with our Business Development Executive and Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) to ensure the seamless execution of tasks.
- Actively participating in brainstorming sessions, team meetings, and project updates.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in cybersecurity solutions and project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in common productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts is a plus but not required – we’ll help you learn!
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Experience with email outreach or CRM tools.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks or standards.
Work Environment
- Location: Remote and/or hybrid opportunities available based on your location.
- Hours: Flexible scheduling to accommodate school or other commitments.
- Mentorship: You’ll receive guidance and mentorship from experienced cybersecurity professionals throughout your internship.
