Application Cybersecurity Expert (m/f/d)

Your new responsibilities

• Support Agile DevOps teams and the Cybersecurity community with application security designs and templates, requirements specifications and the verification of implementation.
• Conduct security assessments and risk evaluations and consult business units with the definition of suitable mitigating countermeasures.
• Share expertise and your knowledge within the Business and Cybersecurity community.
• Represent the Siemens Smart Infrastructure Cybersecurity team in corporate initiatives and projects.

Your skills and experience

• University degree in Computer Science or IT Security or equivalent education.
• A minimum 3 years’ experience in Cybersecurity
• Strong knowledge of security standards and regulations such as ISO27001, and IEC62443
• Proficiency in designing application security architectures and the evaluating and integrating of 3rd party SaaS applications.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML systems – particularly LLMs, RAG architecture or AI pipelines.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and architecture
• Ability to effectively translate technical content into business language.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is an advantage.

No certification requirements but important to have the following knowledge:
